We are Tom and Martina Thurlow, local Bay Area attorneys. We are a married couple who met in law school, worked in the the District Attorney's office together, and now share a criminal law practice. We focus on DUI law.
On a personal note we have lived in the Bay Area most of our adult lives, have three grown and married children, 11 grandchildren, and one very lively 4 year old adopted daughter. Rachel came to us as God's blessing last year from India!

Drivers License:
RIGHT NOW YOU MUST MEET A 10 DAY DEADLINE WITH THE DMV IN ORDER TO STOP YOUR AUTOMATIC CALIFORNIA LICENSE SUSPENSION. Day one of the deadline begins on your arrest date.We will request a hearing and stay your suspension immediately upon being hired. We have a solid success rate at beating DMV hearings. For most of our clients, if your DMV case cannot be won outright, we know of ways to shorten any suspension period and get you driving again quickly.
Court Appearances:
More than 99% of our DUI clients do not need to go to court! We go for you. Do not be fooled by documents or citations that order you to be personally present in court. In most cases (and we will let you know if you are the rare exception) we can make all court appearances for you.
Jail:
For the vast majority of our clients we are able to prevent any more actual jail time and you are often given credit for the jail time you have already served the night you were arrested.
EXPERIENCE AND COST:
We have a combined experience of more than 40 years in the law. As former Deputy District Attorneys we both know what works and what does not work. We are affordable and we take credit cards!
